Acupuncture

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a medical system developed in China using hair-fine needles and pressure to stimulate healing responses for many common issues.  It has been observed and used for centuries, and proven reliable as a contemporary and stand-alone method of healthcare.

How does acupuncture work?

Gently inserted needles stimulate the body to send signals to the brain in areas where it’s gone a little sleepy, in order to heal itself.  The body knows what to do, given a little guidance.

What conditions does acupuncture treat?

I have successfully treated acute and chronic ailments such as IBS, headaches, paralysis, allergies & asthma, menses & menopausal issues, and stroke debilities, plus pain from tendonitis, arthritis, and fibromyalgia.

Can acupuncture help with mental health imbalances?

Absolutely!  Most people report an increased sense of well-being following treatment.  In addition, it is used successfully  for PTSD, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and addiction recovery.  It is recognized by the National Institute of Health and the Veteran’s Administration for these conditions.

What other health services are offered?

  • NeuroAcupuncture is a specialty using scalp acupuncture to focus on neurological conditions.  It is a modern technique integrating traditional Chinese needling with Western medical knowledge of the cerebral cortex.  For actual, heartwarming case studies please see http://www.NeuroAcupunctureInstitute.org
  • Massage is a signature specialty for another way to relaxation employing Esalen© and Facial Fitness Massage.  When combined with acupuncture, further layers of healing are successfully accomplished.

Incredibly simple, astonishingly effective, find out for yourself that acupuncture WORKS, especially for pain relief and stress reduction.
